Formante 2.0

Formante is a vocal filter plugin compatible with AudioUnit AU3, designed to simulate the formants and vowels of the human voice. This capability allows for the creation of rich and mellow sounds, applicable across a wide range of audio sources including synthesizers, drums, and guitars.

The plugin provides extensive control over its parameters, enabling users to manipulate them via hosts or through automation with an integrated drawable envelope. Users can select from 16, 32, or 64 steps for resolution and utilize BPM tempo control to achieve precise timing.

Notably, the filter engine has received acclaim for its performance within the vocal section of the EGSY01 analogue synth. User demand has led to the decision to release it as a standalone filter.

Please note: Formante is not a standalone application; it requires an AU3 compatible host such as n-Track, AUM, Auria, Cubasis, or Beatmaker3 to function.
